Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a commercially-focused, excellent communicator, with ideally working logistics knowledge and/or legally trained to join us!
You will aim to create best possible commercial controls and structures to enable operations and other cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, streamline their expenditures and/or optimize contribution margin and make well-informed business decisions.
- Support the Company's strategies to optimize and accelerate growth by ensuring sound Commercial Management Principles are practiced across the organization.
- Effectively manage Agreements with Maersk Contract Logistics (MCL) Principals/Customers together with Operations, Business Development, Account Management, such that MCL interests are properly protected while providing outstanding service to its Principals/Customers.
- Perform MCL Principals/Customers Agreement -related tasks which include close collaboration with other functional units (BD/AM/SD/Ops Teams/QMS/IT/HR & FNA).
- Along with Procurement team, manage Agreement with Suppliers ensuring that MCL's interests are protected and that any risks in the key Supplier Contracts are properly mitigated.
- Perform Supplier Agreement-related tasks.
- Ensuring all Lease Agreement are duly covered by Lease Commitment form prior to approval and signing of Head of FNA.
- Education in related field such as Business Management, Finance or Law
- Strong foundational experience in a commercial contract management in a logistics industry or sales and distributions company is an advantage .
- In-depth awareness or be knowledgeable of government regulatory requirements and applicable laws concerning logistics business and operations.
- Attention to detail, delegation and management experience, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently within a team-oriented structure.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
