Can you assist us in setting up a centralised procurement process in our growing business?

Independent Forgings is a growing business and as such we need a Procurement Manager. You will work alongside the management team, setting up and improving our procurement process. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the management team and so to our overall success.

Whilst one day will never be the same as the next, a typical day might look like this;

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, making sure they deliver on factors such as quality, cost, delivery and are financially stable.
• Keeping in contact with our key suppliers to build relationships, foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborating with other departments to reduce waste, identify and eliminate bottlenecks

What do you need to succeed at IFA?

• You will have a proven track record in delivering a high quality procurement service.
• You will be used to communicating at all levels of the business and building relationships
• You are likely to have some experience in a production type environment
• You will have great organisational, numeracy and IT skills
• You are likely to be qualified to at least HND or similar Level 4 Qualifications
