Champion best practice in international procurement with every purchase.
Are you experienced in procurement within an international organisation, financial institution, European Union body or investment bank? Do you have broad knowledge of public procurement, principles and best practice in contract management? Then you can enjoy significant impact on the bottom line of a pan-European development bank with a unique social mandate.
Bringing together 43 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.
Supporting project and corporate procurement activities, you will focus on purchasing a broad spectrum of goods, services and works. At all times, we will look to you to provide advice and guidance to colleagues, borrowers and beneficiaries and organise and monitor contracts, whilst actively championing value for money to control our costs. This will involve reviewing extensive documentation, managing the tender process and drafting reports to support decision-making, so you can expect different challenges every day.
To join us, you should bring:
- A postgraduate-level qualification in procurement, project management, supply chain management, business administration, law or a related discipline.
- Expertise in tender preparation and offer evaluation and reporting. A good understanding of risk management.
- A high level of IT literacy, including Zoom and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Full fluency in either English or French, backed by a working knowledge of the other language.
Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system at https://ceb.profils.org before the deadline of 12 December 2024, midnight Paris time. Please mention the job board when applying.
