Buyer - Civils & Infrastructure - FTSE100 Organisation
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus and package
Location: Hybrid options with offices in Leeds or Cheshire
Due to organic growth and significant investment in their award-winning procurement function, this leading FTSE100 organisation is expanding its Civils, Construction & Infrastructure Procurement team. As a Buyer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting high-profile civil engineering projects within your assigned regional unit (North West or North East England). Reporting into an ambitious and high-performing team, you will lead procurement activities that drive value and ensure seamless supply chain operations for some of the UK's most transformative infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shaping Procurement Strategies: Develop innovative supply chain strategies and intelligence reports to optimise project outcomes.
- Driving Results: Take ownership of procurement schedules and fulfil complex material requisitions with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborating with the Best: Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Leading Competitive Processes: Run tenders, secure quotes, and analyse data to deliver best-in-class procurement solutions.
- Championing Excellence: Ensure compliance with company policies and maximise the utilisation of group agreements, driving value at every step.
- Shaping the Future: Contribute to the team's strategy and play an integral role in supporting pipeline projects that shape the UK's infrastructure landscape.

Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management within construction, engineering, or infrastructure environments is highly valued.
