Role: Soft Commodity Risk & Trading Manager
Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Salary: €90,000 - €120,000 Fix Salary + Bonus, Share & More Benefits

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing direct and embedded commodity price risks, delivering insights and implementing strategies that directly influence the business's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and price forecasting for commodities like sugar, cocoa, dairy, oil, or energy.
- Develop and execute hedging strategies using derivatives and OTC products.
- Partner with procurement teams to enhance supplier negotiations and contracting.
- Lead portfolio expansion, including proxy hedging opportunities.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on risk management strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong network with industry players, including traders and suppliers.
Your Profile:
- Proven Experience in commodity risk management, research and trade execution; additional experience in procurement within commodities is highly desirable
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of commodity markets (sugar, cocoa, oil, dairy or energy markets), with advanced analytical and Excel skills.
- Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Additional Information:
