- €80, 000 - €100, 000 + bonus
- Fluent English & German mandatory
I'm currently partnered with a global market leading FMCG company based in Augsburg that is actively searching for a Global Category Manager in Energy to join their indirect purchasing function. The organisation employs over 20, 000 people globally and is seeking a professional with profound purchasing experience and a passion for sustainability to join their German function.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for energy purchasing, inclusive but not limited to gas, electricity, chemicals, waste management, emissions etc.
- You are in charge of standardising requirements, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and proactively identifying risks.
- Tenders, pricing negotiations, contract drafting and the tracking of contractually compliance billing and related reporting are all part of your responsibilities. Along with the pertinent laws and regulations, you will also examine and evaluate the present procurement market.
- In your position, you facilitate seamless collaboration with all sites by serving as the liaison between the sustainability department and the energy management of individual businesses.
Experience Required:
- Technical degree or qualification
- Several years of purchasing experience, preferably within an energy orientated role
- Fluent English & German language
