Position: Process Owner - Maintenance Management

Location: Cologne, Germany

Salary: €70,000-90,000 + benefits

Our client is an exciting specialty chemicals organisation, offering a unique supply of chemical applications with uses across a wide range of industries. An independent business, the organisation was born from senior leaders at a Global Leading chemicals business. Since conception, the company has built up departments from the ground and is still developing functions further at a good pace.

At the site in Cologne, our client is hiring for a Business Process leader for the team of maintenance engineers and operational staff. While not being the direct daily leader, you will organise business structures and create the Maintenance function from a process standpoint, as a point of interface between Maintenance, Production and Supply Chain.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define processes for the Maintenance function in interface with Supply Chain and Production
• Run KPIs for Maintenance Management - mean time for failure, mean time for preparation etc.
• Process owner for gateways and safeguarding across the Maintenance team
• Shaping the organisation of Maintenance and building cross-functionality
• Manage the team of 15+ maintenance staff on-site in Cologne

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE-

• Fluency in German
• Experience in designing maintenance processes within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to advance the organisation with other leaders into more of a process focused business
• Open personality and clear communication style, with ability to lead functionally (not a Supervisor role)
• Proactivity to enjoy shaping the Maintenance organisation
• Ability and ambition to work in a fast-paced growth environment
