  • 2 days on-site office presence per week

I'm partnered with a market leading business consultancy that is actively searching for an experience IT procurement professional to join their global purchasing team. With over 40 offices globally they have gained true geographical coverage and tailor their services towards a diverse range of industries to tackle day-to-day business challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category to optimise cost savings, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions within the IT industry.
  • Partner with IT/Technology Leadership to align strategic IT initiatives with Procurement strategies and Business objectives.
  • Understand the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify synergy opportunities, expiring contracts and optimisation needs.
  • Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • In partnership with IT leadership, manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category..
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices, supplier selection, and contract management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in IT procurement to maintain a competitive advantage.

Experience Requited:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. An MBA or relevant certifications (such as CSCP or CPSM) is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, ideally within a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud solutions, and telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Proven success in managing complex procurement projects and driving cost-saving initiatives.
  • Skilled in using procurement software, ERP systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English & Polish
