An exciting new roll has opened up as a procurement manager at a leading real estate management and development due to immense growth seen after they were acquired by a global private equity firm. This acquisition has seen huge investments in their business and expansion of their procurement department and the development of new and exciting projects within the real estate industry.

Key responsibilities of the Procurement Manager include:

  • Manages material and systems selection in conjunction with Projects team to guarantee suitability and best value throughout the product lifespan and beyond project completion.
  • Leading the RFP process from tendering stage through to contractual award, driving efficiencies in time and price reduction.
  • Provides advice and oversight of risk management and transfer through the procurement and execution cycle
  • Manages supplier performance, conducting due diligence ahead of appointment.


Experiences that will make you stand out for the position of Procurement Manager:

  • Experience of using digital procurement tools: e-tendering and P2P systems.
  • Experience within the construction industry and procurement in terms of the construction industry
  • Proven experience of achieving cost savings and sustainable benefits through effective negotiations
  • Highly technical background with experience in construction, maintenance and building upkeep.
