Procurement Category Specialist - Engineering Services - FTSE 100 Manufacturing Organisation - Multiple locations (Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Bristol) + Home Based Contract - £35-45k + 10% Bonus

Renowned for driving innovation across all areas of the business, this esteemed Manufacturing organisation seeks an ambitious procurement specialist to enter a business partnering position in their rapidly expanding procurement function.
This market-leading company have had continuous growth over the past few years and their procurement function is currently going through an exciting transformation towards best-in-class! The successful candidate will act as the lynch pin between group procurement and site level teams to implement procurement activity across Mechanical, MRO, Engineering & Manufacturing equipment
Procurement Business Partner role requirements: -
- Acting as a procurement business partner, you will work closely with category teams to implement global and local procurement strategies with site teams
- Manage UK supplier base across MRO, Engineering Services and Manufacturing equipment
- Conduct and implement sourcing activities with the defined governance of the operations team
- Build strong internal and experience relationships to ensure effect implementation of procurement strategy within a matrix environment
MRO Procurement Specialist, Required background: -
- Previously category experience in one of the following: MRO, Engineering Services or manufacturing equipment
- Strong supplier relationship management experience
- Ambition to create a change and develop in line with a market-leading procurement function
- Strong analytical skills and a willingness to improve a procurement function
- Excellent communication skillset and experience working in a stakeholder management position
- Degree + CIPS qualified (Beneficial not essential)
