Following another successful year of growth and financial success Bramwith Consulting have once again been engaged to identify the very best procurement talent to join this highly successful specialist procurement and supply chain management consultancy.

The organisation is looking to make a number of senior level Consultant hires across multiple grades to work on new and existing client accounts including blue-chip multinational and FTSE 250 companies based predominantly here in the UK.

Due to continued growth across all their industry practises and recent backing and investment from a renowned private equity firm, this highly respected procurement and supply chain consultancy continues to go from strength to strength as they solidify their position within the top 30 high performing consultancies in the UK.

This organisation is well known for attracting the very brightest and most promising talent from those already in management consultancy (including the big 4), but also from senior leadership within industry who are seeking greater autonomy, meritocracy, responsibility, and client exposure.

Procurement Management Consultant role overview:

  • Lead successful teams on long-term projects for clients across multiple sectors including manufacturing, aerospace, FMCG and pharma, undertaking advisory work relating to procurement transformations, S&OP and digital transformation projects
  • Build category strategy for both the business and client bases and ensuring that client objectives are executed alongside directors and partners internally and externally
  • Use your procurement expertise to successfully guide cost reduction programmes, system/P2P implementations, and supplier rationalisation projects
  • Be able to identify potential issues and undertake opportunity assessment for improvement

Procurement background and skills required:

  • Strong direct procurement consultancy experience within a regarded management consultancy AND/OR strong industry experience within blue-chip organisations, including building a team and implementing change
  • Candidates will require a background in direct procurement across any industry but ideally aerospace, engineering, automotive, pharma, FMCG or manufacturing
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to maintain numerous client relationships and the ability to juggle several major projects.
  • Strong academic background, minimum degree educated and CIPS (desirable)
  • A proven negotiator and influencer at all levels with an engaging and confident professional demeanour
