Senior Procurement Manager - CAPEX - Interim - Global Pharmaceutical Brand - Surrey - £350 - £450 per day

Due to an influx of large strategic Capex projects, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical firms is urgently seeking an interim Senior Procurement Manager - Capex to join their organisation on a 4-6 months contract. With executive stakeholder engagement this is a fantastic opportunity for a senior seasoned Capex interim professional and lead business critical projects.
Key involvements:-
- Lead Capex Procurement spend at a major manufacturing site, managing the end to end sourcing process on busines critical projects
- Support the project execution plan through effective Stakeholder Engagement and Supplier Negotiations, ensuring transparency and Best Value Procurement.
- Work with the Engineering and Project teams and Legal on a recommendation for the contracting plan
- Stakeholder Engagement with Supply Chain Units/Finance Controllers/Global Commodity Managers/ Supplier Management Team Members/Exec team/External Legal.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:-
- Significant Cape purchasing expertise within blue-chip procurement environments
- End-to-end strategic sourcing experience including contract drafting and negotiation, RFPs, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship management (SRM), with a track record of successfully handling large capex spend
- Strong track record of progression with leading blue chip or corporate environments
- Degree, MBA or equivalent
- MCIPS, CPM or studying towards
