About us

Here at Suma we’ve been doing things a bit differently for over 40 years. Not only in our mission to supply everything vegetarian, ethical and sustainable, but also in how we are run.

Suma is a worker co-operative; a business owned and run by the nearly 200 members who work here.  We’re a group of ordinary people who have built a business on principles of integrity and equality.  Suma’s employees work together to collectively set the direction of the business - there’s no shareholders and no traditional ‘bosses’.  Everyone at Suma gets paid the same wage, takes personal responsibility and does a range of jobs each week.

About the job

There are a number of great benefits which are shared by all Suma employees:

  • A competitive, equal pay salary
  • Generous holiday entitlement
  • Flexible working

  • Staff discount

  • Free meals whilst on-site
