IT Junior Global Category Manager - Barcelona - €40K - 47K + Bonus + Package - Global Technology Company

This Global Technology Company have been extremely successful over the last couple of years, having gone through numerous M&As they are set to be the leading of their industry within the next couple of years.

As a result of current and predicted future growth, the organization are now looking for a Junior IT Global Category Manager to join their high performing procurement function.

This role is for an ambitious Procurement professional looking for a career in which they can learn and grow, and progress quickly through to more senior positions within the business.

The IT Junior Global Category Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the full end to end strategic sourcing process from market analytics, the tender process through to supplier relationship management
  • Managing a €Multi-Million Euro spend across various IT categories including Software, Cloud and IT Services
  • Learning from and working closely with your line manager the IT Global Category Manager to design IT category strategy for the global business
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders within the business to influence them on procurement strategy

The IT Junior Global Category Manager need to have:

  • End to end strategic sourcing / category management / procurement experience
  • Indirect category experience, ideally covering IT categories
  • Must speak fluent English - or at least very good as the organisation operate in English
