Senior Procurement Officer x 2
2 x Senior Procurement Officer positions are now available at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, one permanent and one fixed term for two years.
The job entails undertaking work associated with the commercial and procurement functions of the Council. The work will involve leading on procurement processes across all areas of the Council to ensure probity and value for money. The post is part of the Corporate Procurement Unit which sets out best practise for procurement across the Council, ensuring that all procurement activities operate within the context of value for money, efficiency and continuous improvement, ensures compliance with legal obligations and supports the Council’s aims and objectives.
Please note that one post is currently being advertised based on 2 year fixed term contract, however, there is the possibility of funding being granted to extend this beyond 2 years or the position being made permanent.
Welsh language skills are not necessary.
