Global Indirect Buyer - Greenfield Procurement Team

This leading global industrial automation organization are establishing a new global shared services procurement organization in Bielsko-Biala and are looking to hire experienced Indirect Procurement Specialists to join their new team.
As a global indirect buyer you will take responsibility for a number of strategic indirect procurement categories such as MRO, Logistics, Outsourced Manufacturing, Capex or C-Parts tail spend. As this is a newly established team you will be responsible for developing the category management and sourcing strategy from scratch and will require someone who is highly entrepreneurial with a self-starter mindset to be able to deliver results with little guidance from senior leadership.
This is an opportunity to put your own mark on a growing international procurement organization and take full ownership over your spend categories.
As the Global Indirect Buyer you will be responsible for:-
- Building the maturity of the global procurement team by implementing effective global sourcing strategies for your designated spend categories
- Utilising the firms spend analytics tools to consolidate suppliers and negotiate more efficient global deals
- Support the implementation and roll-out of new P2P and ERP system to further develop procurement's infrastructure
- Providing subject matter expertise of indirect procurement to cross-functional global teams
To be successful in this Global Indirect Buyer position you must be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a newly created role and department and be confident working in an environment with little process or guidance. You will have a high degree of autonomy to develop your own strategies and processes that will deliver optimal results to the organization.
