Are you a global logistics operations professional looking for an opportunity to manage a global P&L for a leading international logistics service provider? This multi-national logistics firm is looking for a subject matter expert to deliver operational and commercial excellence to the business. You will take over operational oversight to all air, sea, land and warehousing services provided by the firm worldwide and manage relationship with external 3PLs and 4PLs to ensure the business has the adequate infrastructure to deliver optimal service and best cost to its customers.

You will be managing a high-performing team of professionals based worldwide and will be targeted on your ability to deliver internal process improvements and continuously improve the level of service to the firms global customer base.

As the Global Head of Logistics Operations you should have:

• Experience with 3PL and 4PL and a proven experience working with global control-towers
• Excellent team leadership and ability to train, develop and motivate staff
• Expertise in multi-modal logistics covering air, sea, road, rail, warehouse and distribution
• Previous experience within a global logistics provider or within in a fast-paced internal logistics department (FMCG, Retail and eCommerce would be highly desirable)
• Ability to work effectively in a transformational environment with a high level ambiguity
