Head of Procurement

The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) is currently recruiting for a permanent Head of Procurement to join the Procurement Team in the UK.

The successful applicant will be responsible for transforming procurement across the organisation and implementing best practice approach to procurement and supply at CIPS. They will also be responsible for developing the Group Procurement Strategy, translating this into a fully defined plan and cascading it across the Group.  

The role will be recognised as a strategic partner within the business in sourcing and contract management.

The successful candidate will also be:

• Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver improved supplier performance, risk mitigation, savings, drive innovation and improvements; demonstrate functional leadership and put in place appropriate resources with the right tools for the job.
• Managing value and reducing risk on third party spend.
• MCIPS qualified.
• Excellent communicator and able to influence stakeholders.
