The global engineering firm is looking for a specialist procurement professional with a deep category knowledge of industrial cutting tools for milling and turning to join its global procurement team. As the Procurement Manager for Turning & Milling Tools. In this role you will apply your subject matter expertise in global sourcing and procurement to implement the strategies that will be rolled out across over 50 production facilities worldwide.

You should have a proven background working in a multinational engineering organization such as Automotive, Aerospace, Machinery or similar sector with an expert knowledge of cutting tools.

As the Procurement Manager for Cutting & Milling Tools your will:

• Provide market insights and expertise to the internal business on ongoing trends and activity with relation to cutting tools
• Have expert knowledge of production and manufacturing process gained in a technical industry like automotive, aerospace or machinery
• Have procurement and sourcing knowledge with experience in deploying multi-national and multi-site strategy
• Drive effective supplier sourcing projects to on-board the best suppliers at optimal cost
• Implement a supplier performance management and KPI tracking system
• Work as part of a global network and cooperate with procurement and operational teams worldwide
