Procurement Specialist, Buckinghamshire- £28,000- £34,000 + 10% bonus + CIPS Sponsorship + other great benefits

This well-known UK brand are going through some exciting growth having acquired 5 new businesses in the last few years which has created more opportunities for Procurement to support the organisation as they continue their ambitious plans in 2021.

Reporting to the new Head of Procurement, this role will give you the autonomy to work across a diverse range of category areas and will see you be part of the category management team of 4. The organisation offer flexible working and are happy to sponsor CIPS studies for anyone joining.

What the role involves:

Be given autonomy to pick up a range of direct and indirect spend and look at ways of leveraging suppliers to get the best commercial price for the business.

Applying and deploying skills developed in several different categories / subcategories. This is not a role where you will focus on one category. You will need to be versatile and commercially astute to identify opportunities across a wide range of stakeholders

Building rewarding relationships with suppliers and looking at ways to rationalise and optimise supplier performance

Working with different sites within the business on delivering exciting projects and acting as a business partner to them to find the right commercial solution

Identify opportunities for cost savings across the business and supporting them in all procurement decision making

The person we hope to find:

Solid procurement experience across direct or indirect services

Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and stakeholders.

Good analytical and problem-solving skill

Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly.

Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision.

Have worked in a similar fast paced environment.

Degree educated desirable but not essential

Salary and Benefits:

£28,000- £34,000 + 10% bonus + CIPS Sponsorship + other great benefits
