Job Description

  • Development of Procurement Key Metrics - for the strategic Procurement programme and for our newly implemented P2P system (Jaggaer)
  • Development of Industry and Supplier Profiles
  • Development of spend analytics and Procurement dashboards, alongside our Business Insights team
  • Key category insights to support the Procurement category management team
  • Analysis of supplier proposals and co-ordination of Financial Capture of Sourcing Outcomes
  • Procurement Savings tracking and reporting
  • Report on Procurement Policy and Process Compliance
  • Has the procurement functional/technical knowledge and skills to perform the role at a high level
  • Uses logic and proven methodology to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at first answers
  • Relates well to all kinds of people; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can diffuse even difficult situations
  • Can be counted on to achieve or exceed KPIs/objectives; consistently a top performer; steadfastly pushes self and others
  • Implementation of procurement processes and ways of working
  • Maximise benefits from group purchasing opportunities for practices and functions to adopt

The Successful Applicant

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and model data with relevant procurement experience gained in a multi-site, decentralised setting
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of implementing and developing robust Procurement reporting
  • With the capability of working autonomously, you will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, as the role works closely with a range of Procurement team, Functional Teams and Operations teams based across the UK
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience of change management and business process improvement
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home, from time to time
  • High level analytical, verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ideally having worked in healthcare sectors however industry type not important, but must have worked in both high volume, low variety and low volume high variety operations
