Head of Procurement - Capital Investments & Expenditure
FTSE 250 Engineering Multinational

This stalwart constituent of the FTSE 250 is currently searching for an experienced and assured Head of Procurement to join the senior leadership team, tasked with overseeing all major capital expenditure relating to the company's operations. This could include but is not limited to:
- Equipment lifecycle and MRO spends.
- Construction and civil projects
- Fleet services
- Major Investments
A market leader in developing future technology, state of the art engineering solutions and aerospace products, this forward-thinking firm has an impressive array of ongoing and pipelined projects which all require niche and specific procurement support. The successful individual can expect to be accountable for millions of pounds worth of investment across areas such as construction, equipment, vehicles, and technology. They will also mentor and lead a team of up to 5 supply chain and procurement experts, working in conjunction with the Group Head of procurement whom this role reports into.
The following skillsets are essential for this role:
- Experience within a technical industry in direct procurement such as aerospace, defence, engineering, manufacturing, construction
- Strong background in sourcing major CapEx equipment, and managing this throughout its lifecycle
- Experience within a senior procurement and supply chain position, managing strategic projects and leading a team
- Relevant educational achievements, including CIPS or MCIPS accreditation
Beneficial experience and skills include:
- Prior experience with construction related spends
- Aerospace or aviation procurement knowledge
- Experience at a similar 'Head of' level
This position can be based in number of sites but will centre around their primary location in the South of England in Surrey. Candidates who require flexible working will be considered, and so to will candidates based in France, Canada, the US and Australia as this role could be based in these countries also.
Salary depends on experience however will be in the region of £75-90,000 plus a generous package including car and bonus.
