Scope of Position :
Responsibilities include a range of administrative duties that support the overall purchasing department activities . You will also be managing a range of some service and consumables contracts for the facility and company cars, and procurement of production consumables.
Key Responsibilities :
- Updating BOM with supplier, costs, lead times, orders and change data
- Change management update management between Engineering & Purchasing
- Maintain free issue parts data
- Updating change management tracker with new data
- Support for maintenance and service of pool cars
- Maintain service contracts for water foundations
- Maintain contracts for washroom and Cleaning contracts
- Supporting all departments on Consumables purchasing including supplier identification, verifying stock levels and raising stock replacement orders.
- Supporting the raising of POR’s and POs on Multimatic internal system and SAP
- Initiating quotation process to establish costs, batch sizes , lead times etc.
- Investigating queries on deliveries & invoices
Key Areas of Authority:
- Inititiating quotation process for assigned suppliers and commodities
- Maintaining and communicating change management tracker
- Supporting mainly direct but also indirect purchasing activities
Basic Requirements :
- SAP knowledge
- Data management background
- Attention to detail
- Purchasing off the shelf / carry-over
- Indirect & direct purchasing, preferably within the automotive or motorsport environment
