Following a recent period of extended growth this innovative FMCG is looking to bring in a new IT Category Manager to join their ranks and work in their best-in-class procurement function located just outside Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an organisation looking to double in size by 2025 and develop a brand new IT infrastructure in the process. This role will be a truly global position in an organisation renowned for it's agile company culture and innovative ways or working.

Category Manager - IT/Technology -

  • Manage IT Sub-category projects across areas: IT Software, IT Hardware & IT Professional Services including but not limited to; Infrastructure, Data Centres, Servers, Storage, Desktop, Networks, Mobility, Colocation, Cloud, Software Licensing, App Development and IT Consultancy
  • Gain fantastic senior level stakeholder experience, dealing with C-Level Stakeholders across the globe
  • Have the opportunity to progress in an award-winning procurement function that is one of the strongest in the industry

Category Manager - IT/Technology Manager, Required Background: -

  • Strong procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with at least 2-3 years specialist IT & Technology procurement category experience
  • Exposure to a global, blue-chip environment is beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills are a must
  • Strong Academics (ideally a degree 2:1 or above) and evidence of progression in previous role(s)
  • Experience as a Procurement/Category manager is beneficial, however, Buyers looking to take the next step in their career will also be considered
