Director, Business Development - Leading Global Inventory Financing & Working Capital Solutions firm - Singapore - 250k SGD +

This global firm, recognised as an industry leader in working capital solutions and inventory management are looking to bring onboard a senior procurement leader to head up business development and sales activities across APAC as part of sustained growth and opportunities for the group.

This is a sales role, operating within the financing industry, where you will use your procurement experience and network to sell exciting opportunities focussed on inventory optimisation and supply chain resilience. Role responsibilities:

• Originating and developing new Customer relationships and Business transactions aligned to the Company strategies
• Achieving a minimum annual Revenue target individually and collectively for the region
• Bringing new ideas and contribute to the thought leadership around Procurement and Supply Chain functions developing new Sales and product strategies
• Developing new partnership channels with relevant industry bodies and service providers (e.g.: 4PL / logistics providers) who are integral to the development and/or implementation of solutions

Experience required:

• Minimum 10-15 years procurement and supply chain experience within large multinational global corporations or large Supply chain or Working Capital Advisory companies
• Industry expertise in any of the following sectors is highly attractive; Automotive, Technology, Manufacturing, FMCG, Telecom Pharmaceutical, Commodities and Retail
• Experience of working with cross-functional teams in large / Multi-national Corporations including Procurement, Logistics, Treasury/Finance, Legal, Accounts/Tax, at the most senior level, across multiple jurisdictions
• Degree level education or equivalent, MBA / Masters is preferred however not essential
