A global professional services company is seeking a category manager to take ownership of innovative procurement programmes with world-wide reach. This position will allow you to utilise your commercial acumen and exposure you to cutting-edge technological advances.


You will develop product strategy to promote value and commercial interests across your broad category remit including Legal, HR and Consultancy. You will utilise data and other resources to identify and champion continuous improvement to achieve positive outcomes with multiple clients.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead strategic sourcing efforts within your professional services remit including planning, sourcing, making and delivering to satisfy corporate requirements
  • Identify and take advantage of value-adding opportunity across your sub categories including Legal, HR, Consultancy and others to achieve desired outcomes
  • Have the ability to competently interpret data to gain category insights and diligently manage your professional services category spend
  • Work constructively with senior stakeholders such as the CFO and CPO and confidently lead discussions across your areas of responsibility
  • Confidently engage with customers and suppliers and ultimately provide excellent service to a significant variety of clients
  • Have the opportunity to learn and apply AI and Machine Learning to improve your categories' value chain


You will have:

  • Extremely good interpersonal skills with the ability embrace new cultures and hierarchical structures
  • Procurement experience across either consulting, sourcing and supply chain management
  • A proven record of devising and implementing strategic initiatives in previous roles
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to utilise tools such as POwerBI, Tableau and others
