IT Procurement Specialist – London/ Remote working | Growing Fintech

£35- £42,000 per annum + 10% Bonus + private healthcare + great benefits

Talent Drive have partnered with a leading Financial Services provider to attract an ambitious IT Procurement Specialist or Buyer who is at a crossroads and looking to take a step up in your career in a fast-paced growing organisation. You will receive fantastic exposure to senior procurement leaders in the business that will help support the growth of your career by you supporting on the big-ticket strategic procurement projects, such as supplier consolidation and helping implementing supplier management.

What the role involves:

Run strategic sourcing initiatives as per category strategy / sourcing pipeline including supplier engagement during RFI / RFP processes, supplier negotiations and collaboration initiatives.

Negotiate contracts and commercial terms in the best interest of the business.

Support the Head of IT Procurement and IT Procurement Manager in running strategic activities as per category strategy plans, including managing the IT Services Preferred Supplier List governance process.

Own and manage stakeholder relationships across various divisions; pro-actively engaging them to define and document business requirements including spend and specifications to build

Help develop IT sourcing initiatives and a sourcing pipeline with the objective of driving out cost while maximising quality.


The person we hope to find:

Strong end to end procurement IT sourcing and category management experience.

Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and stakeholders

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Understanding of software licensing models and procurement approaches is highly desirable

Ability to independently plan and execute procurement activities / experience of managing own projects

Degree & CIPS qualified – desirable
