Location: UK (Flexible Working)

Are you an experienced procurement category manager with a hunger to join a rapidly growing organisation and implement change? Globally renowned fortune 500 company that provide a digitally led range of services in strategy, consulting, interactive technology and operations are looking for someone like you to join their wider procurement function.

Based out of London, you will galvanise its marketing procurement process to drive success through 2021 and beyond. Managing a colossal annual spend, you will innovate and execute multi-year strategies that maximise value for money whilst taking a lead on sourcing, professional services, identifying and implementing agency decoupling.

As the Procurement Category Manager you will:-

  • Take responsibility across the marketing strategy.
  • Managing an array of marketing sub category spend including but not limited to: digital, print., media, agency, point of sale
  • Engage with team members to provide insight on market trends.
  • Support new sales and develop significant client business value.
  • Establish, grow, and leverage network of suppliers, industry practitioners, and procurement professionals within categories of expertise.
  • Inform client strategic decisions/sourcing initiatives in line with business goals and objectives.
  • Be a harmonising force within the organisation, working alongside suppliers and successfully influencing key stakeholders, to improve cost and performance strategies.
  • Leverage your skills and experience to provide internal colleagues with learning opportunities.

Qualifications:-

  • Have circa 5-10 years of experience within Category Management/Professional Services.
  • Degree Educated.
  • CIPS qualifications preferred.
