Packaging Procurement Manager (Direct)

Salary: £60k - £70k + bonus

Location: North West London + flexible working

This award-winning food manufacturer that reaches consumers in over 100 markets across over 25 countries is currently looking for a Packaging Procurement Manager to join their team within the UK office. The Fortune 500 company has been around for more than 100 years and is one of the most well-established food manufacturers. The company's focus now is working sustainably, and the procurement team will lead their sustainability agenda.

Role Responsibilities:

• Creating and executing procurement strategies for several EMEA packaging categories
• Lead global procurement agenda for the category
• Working from home, with a few days in the UK office
• Manage several buyers to ensure objectives are met across the spend pool, communicating with colleagues in other geographies
• Identify, lead and deliver selected projects for the whole directs category

Relevant Experience / Background:

• Minimum of 5 years in a procurement position, preferably in direct procurement categories
• Graduate with a strong academic background, ideally with a masters's or MBA and ideally with Business, Engineering or Technical specialization
• Highly competent in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
• Fluent in English, additional languages French, Italian and Polish would be an advantage
