IT Category Manager - Professional Services Firm - £50k - 60k + Excellent Benefits Package - Modern Central London Offices - Clear Progression Opportunities

This renowned professional services firm seeks an experienced IT Category Manager to enter the firm's newly created London office and grow their presence across the UK & Europe. Entering a position with broad responsibilities the successful individual will have a natural path for progression into senior management as the procurement function continues its expansion.

IT Category Manager Responsibilities:

  • Carry out strategic sourcing, developing and delivering strategies for which the business may capitalize on
  • Managing supplier relationships as well as contracts currently in place and negotiating contracts in place in the future
  • Conducting deep research into IT category and identify how you can generate savings across them
  • Proactive management and accountability for all procurement activity and 3rd party spend within specified categories

IT Category Manager Requirements:

  • Strong IT Procurement experience
  • Proven track record of managing a large spend and delivering savings
  • Ability to work autonomously with a can-do attitude
  • Experience of managing end-to-end procurement and supplier management
  • Graduate with a strong academic background
  • Good communication skills with past experience managing supplier and stakeholder relationships
