My client is an innovation obsessed technology company which constantly disrupts convention across existing and new markets. The global firm requires a contrarian Head of Procurement for technology and outsourced services who is willing and able to deliver beyond expectations.

You will join an award-winning procurement team and steer them to deliver your strategic vision. Due to year-on-year company success, the company will be recruiting Senior Category Managers which will enable you to shape your team and truly make it your own. If you are a courageous, innovative and strategic procurement professional then this could be the challenge you are looking for.

In this procurement role, you will:

• Successfully structure the indirect procurement team whilst devising and implementing a bold new strategy and be responsible for a significant £300 million+ category spend
• Diligently manage procurement cost controls to achieve significant savings across your broad category remit including software, hardware, cloud services and all outsourcing contracts and more
• Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders whilst taking a leading role in successfully negotiating complex contracts
• Proactively simplify and remove complication from processes and earn a strong reputation for delivering every time

You will have:

• 10+ years of strong experience in IT procurement roles with a clear track record of positive career progression
• Concrete results that demonstrate your experience in delivering financial benefits from IT suppliers within previous roles.
• Savvy commercial acumen and experience in negotiating procurement contracts including but not limited to: software licences, SaaS agreements and Cybersecurity
• MCIPS, MBA or equivalent are considered ideal
