Job Details
Value Match are supporting a central government owned organisation to appoint a Senior Commercial Officer on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role within the Commercial function based across the North West of England, with a starting salary of £40,000.
The Senior Commercial Officer will provide effective commercial support to the Commercial Managers and support the development and implementation of commercial solutions with identified customers, and ensure robust commercial practices to help secure and deliver the right opportunities both within the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
- Proven commercial experience, able to demonstrate a solid understanding of contracts
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of costing and pricing
- Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating confidence and drive, able to challenge, influence and communicate effectively to different audiences
- Ability to flourish and remain organised in a high-pressure environment to demanding deadlines
