We are Mind the mental health charity. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and we campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

We are looking for an Associate Director – Network Operations to play a vital role in our organisation as we embark on an ambitious strategy to effect long lasting change in communities and reach more people than ever before. Effective management of the day-to-day operations and support for the federation, the ability to develop robust relationship management and engagement approaches and the systems and processes we use to monitor quality and make informed strategic decisions about the development of our model and support offer are critical to our success. Your expertise and leadership in the field of delivering activity and programmes to strengthen and support networks of local organisations or services will therefore play a pivotal role in ensuring we can sustain and grow our local organisations to provide support to people with mental health problems in communities across England and Wales.

We are looking for an exceptional influencer, skilled at working with a variety of senior stakeholders, with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.  With a comprehensive knowledge of organisational risk and experience of the application of risk management, you will have a proven track record of robust decision making.  Demonstrating a senior level of experience of programme and project management, you will bring a track record of senior leadership and the management of teams and operations across a complex organisation. Above all, you will demonstrate your commitment to our mission, values and ambition and will be dedicated to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion into all aspects of our work.

If you would like to contribute to real and tangible outcomes that can positively and genuinely change the lives of people with mental health problems, please click on Apply below.

For an informal confidential discussion about the role, please contact our advising consultant at GatenbySanderson: Joanna Thornton on 07384 258626. The closing date is Monday 2nd August 2021 at 10am.

Mind is committed to diversity and inclusion.  We welcome applications from all regardless of age, gender identity, disability, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, religion or belief, race or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, transgender status, or socio-economic background.
