IT Procurement Manager - Global Fintech - £40K + Package

Location: Central London (Office based and remote hybrid)

A brand new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dynamic procurement professional to join a renowned global procurement function operating in the fintech industry. After monumental growth, and a recent floating on the New York Stock Exchange, this company is facing continued success and now seek an IT procurement manager to aid the fortune of this firm.

This role incorporates a broad remit of responsibility across all sub-categories of IT, engaging in end-to-end procurement processes and working with the Head of IT Procurement to employ strategy and category planning.

This is a permanent position that provides the successful candidate with fantastic opportunities for further development, including CIPS sponsorship and the ability to progress to more senior positions within the team. The salary on offer is £40,000 plus a 10% bonus.

The IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage a portfolio across the IT category of circa £50Million, including IT Services, Hardware and Software, across areas of Maintenance and Development, Enterprise Infrastructure, End User Computing, Networks and Telecoms, IT Services, and more
  • Engage in the full IT portfolio sourcing process, supplier negotiations, strategic account relationships, performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive saving initiatives in close cooperation with stakeholders all over the world

Required Background for the Procurement Project Manager:

  • A strong track record of IT procurement experience, with a competence and a proven ability to manage supplier relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Product knowledge including hardware, software including licencing metrics, storage and maintenance
  • Ability to independently plan and execute procurement activities in an autonomous manner
