Salary: £50k - £60k + Bonus

Are you an FM Procurement Category Manager with a hunger to join a rapidly growing organisation and implement change? This global Professional Services firm are expanding their Facilities Management Procurement Function and are looking for an innovative Category Manager to tackle projects across various categories.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious FM category manager to gain invaluable experience working alongside procurement experts and have rapid career progression. You will be reporting directly into the Head of Procurement and will be given the opportunity to grow and develop as this function continues to mature.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Managing a large spend (over £100m) across both direct and indirect markets
  • Presenting to and liaising with senior stakeholders to drive self-created procurement strategy
  • Leading and managing RFP's as required for Corporate Category in EMEA region
  • Receiving a mix of classroom and on-the-job support from the procurement leadership team in order to ensure continuous growth and development
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implement new policies and procedures, including justification of legacy policies and procedures

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of procurement legislation, tendering process, contract management and supplier relationship management
  • Proven track record of working in an environment where customer needs are variable, at short notice and the ability to access opportunities at speed
  • Relevant Degree and MCIPS qualified is desirable
  • Strong understanding of category, supplier environment and industry and market insight
