FM Category Manager - Fortune500 Professional Services Organisation
Salary: £40k - £60k + Bonus
Location: London (Flexible)

This Fortune500 major is expanding their Facilities Management procurement function and are looking for an experienced FM Category Manager to oversee projects across various categories. With offices in over 80 countries, this organisation has well established itself within the industry.
Based out of London, you will be the strategic lead managing relevant category internally as well as externally, across the whole EMEA region and will be reporting directly into the Head of Procurement. The successful individual will be managing a large spend across direct and indirect markets, as well as developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
Role responsibilities:
- Managing a large spend (over £100m) across both direct and indirect markets
- Presenting to and liaising with senior stakeholders to drive self-created procurement strategy
- Leading and managing RFP's as required for Corporate Category in EMEA region
- Receiving a mix of classroom and on-the-job support from the procurement leadership team in order to ensure continuous growth and development
- Identify opportunities to develop and implement new policies and procedures, including justification of legacy policies and procedures
Relevant experience / background:
- Knowledge of procurement legislation, tendering process, contract management and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record of working in an environment where customer needs are variable, at short notice and the ability to access opportunities at speed
- Relevant Degree and MCIPS qualified is desirable
- Strong understanding of category, supplier environment and industry and market insight
