This highly ambitious organisation formed to address a significant gap in the energy sector seeks an experience Vendor & Commercial candidate to join its leadership as they enter a critical phase in their delivery. This role will work to deliver the organisations key contract as they enter a substantial growth phase with their product launching in the second half of 2021.

The Senior Vendor Manager will work closely with the Head of Commercial and to develop and implement strategy, growth agenda and develop a team.

As a Senior Commercial & Vendor Manager - Technology you will:

  • Develop and execute the post contract management process for technology services, as the organsiation looks to launch technology devices product
  • Define and manage vendor governance & performance
  • Build sustained and effective supplier relations to ensure effective delivery of key company contracts
  • Be accountable for managing work packages to deliver technical requirements to achieve value and commercial efficiency in addition to seeking approval for the relevant governance.
  • Develop and mentor a commercial analyst to assist in defining parameters for analysis and reporting to ensure strong vendor performance aligned to contractual agreements.
  • Working closely with the Head of Commercial & c-suite leadership team to align strategy across projects & programmes

Role requirements:

  • Strong commercial experience with an excellent background in vendor management & governance
  • Highly adept in all aspects of contracts management
  • Experience leading relationship with key technology services contract providers
  • Excellent negotiation skillset
  • Excellent commercial acumen in order to liaise effectively within senior stakeholders internally & externally within a technical environment.
