This nationally loved FMCG organization is offering an exciting new opportunity as a procurement cost analyst. Throughout this role your general responsibilities will be vital within the overall procurement team; by leveraging both internal and external data you'll effectively identify cost saving opportunities. The procurement experience you'll receive is undeniable, from working alongside the wider procurement team coupled with exposure to key stakeholders across the business within a variety of projects that cover a range of categories. This is not a role to miss out on.

Within this procurement cost analyst role, you will be responsible for…

  • Gathering necessary data from internal and external sources by undertaking data extraction, requests and consolidation
  • Analysing data through use of various statistical methods to identify useful information and uncover interesting insights to facilitate drawing of conclusions and subsequent recommendations
  • Using analysis of data to quantify all potential cost savings and effectively present finding to relevant company procurement stakeholders

To be suitable for this procurement cost analyst role you will need…

  • A passion for data and strong analytical capabilities
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel to aid cleansing, analysing and manipulation of data
  • Skills surrounding organisation and attention to detail as well as the ability to present and be proactive
  • Strong academic record (ideally a 2:1 degree)
