An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the central Finance department as Procurement Officer working in a proactive and value adding team.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in Procurement. With a friendly and approachable manner, you will have experience of working proactively and effectively with internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Procurement Manager on all aspects of the procurement life cycle from setting up suppliers to supporting key stakeholders. Demonstrating value for money through spend analysis, implementing processes and procedures and supporting users with the procurement systems are key aspects of the role.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about purchasing in Higher Education, champion procurement processes, raise awareness, drive forward efficiencies and support stakeholders in achieving required outcomes from contracts.

Remuneration
Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £33,836 rising to £38,594 per annum.
This post is full time, 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE) and open-ended. The salary quoted above is on the College's London Pay Scale and includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the Greater London area. The appointment is subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
