Procurement Cost Analyst / FMCG / Sheffield / £30,000 - £35,000 / Flexi Working

The dynamic nature of this role in terms of day-to-day activities play a vital role within the overall procurement team. From leveraging both internal and external data to identifying cost opportunities through varying projects and categories; each day will be different from the next and your exposure to industry-leading stakeholders provides invaluable procurement experience.

Within this procurement cost analyst role, you will be required to…

  • Gather and leverage all relevant data from both internal and external sources to undertake effective data extraction and consolidation
  • Utilise a variety of statistical methods to aid effective analysis, draw conclusions and provide suitable recommendations for potential cost saving improvements
  • Use appropriate visualisation tools to effectively present findings to all procurement relevant stakeholders

  • A passion for data and strong analytical capabilities
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel to aid cleansing, analysing and manipulation of data
  • Skills surrounding organisation and attention to detail as well as the ability to present and be proactive
  • Strong academic record (ideally a 2:1 degree)
