Enfield is keen to implement a culture of Contract Management and has created two new roles within its new Procurement Service to support this.  Key to this implementation is the new role of Contract and Supplier Relationship Manager.  As Contract & Supplier Relationship Manager you will drive the implementation of Contract Management across the organisation. This involves the creation, implementation and maintenance of all policies, strategies, processes, and governance relating to Contract Management for Procurement Services and council contract management activity, to ensure Procurement Services are in alignment, and deliver Contract Management strategies. This is an exciting time to join as new ways of working are being established providing a platform to build a culture of Contract Management across the organisation.

Reporting into the newly created Head of Procurement Policy & Contract Development, you’ll use your knowledge of Contract Management, Supplier Relationship management and local authority procurement to formulate and work with data and service areas to inform the improvement agenda.  You’ll work collaboratively with services and operational areas developing a contract management culture, supporting them with supplier negotiations  and supplier relationship management ensuring corporate risk is managed and contracts are delivering service aims and priorities, against clear KPI’s.

If you are seeking a new challenge and want to bring your dynamism and energy to an ambitious and forward thinking organisation, we will want to hear from you. It’s important that you have the CIPS Certificate in Procurement & Supply Operations, or commitment to work towards it, or 3 years demonstrable Contract Management experience in a central function.
