Global Direct Procurement Manager - Manufacturing Business - Bristol - £60-70K + Package and rapid progression up the ranks

Disrupting the technology market for over a decade this behemoth house-hold company is seeking a Directs Procurement Manager to join their collaborative and creative Procurement function. This is an incredible opportunity for a Procurement Manager who is looking for a challenging, but hugely rewarding career move.

As a Procurement Manager in the Global Operations & Procurement Team, you will gain exposure to some of the newest technologies that have been years in the making, as well as working on launched products. You will be involved in the end-to-end procurement process from the research to the product launch building robust supply chains establishing the key areas of cost efficiency and quality product performance.

As Global Direct Procurement Manager, you will:

  • As a procurement leader you will be an SME, managing the Electro-Mechanical Procurement Engineering team, assimilating data and research on new products in the pipeline as well as currently launched products.
  • Work cross-collaboratively across a multitude of direct procurement categories, acting as a business partner with both the R&D and Engineering teams
  • Negotiating with the key suppliers to achieve optimum savings whilst obtaining the best technologies on the market
  • Work within a team of around 4 people developing some of the brightest up and coming minds

Global Direct Procurement Manager, Required Skills:

  • Have expert knowledge and experience of Electromechanical commodities such as Pumps, Batteries and PSUs & Chargers; understanding how the supply chains of these commodities can be optimized
  • Have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change and influencing multiple stakeholders across different categories
  • Engineering or equivalent degree from a world renowned university
