We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain expert to join our diverse and passionate team.

Zurich Resilience Solutions is pivotal to supporting our customers internally and externally with market leading risk management solutions. We utilise our insight and expertise to assist our customers in making critical and complex supply chains more efficient and resilient.

This role is fantastically diverse and rewarding, recent events have placed unprecedented strain on supply chains and at Zurich Resilience Solutions we need experienced people to assist customers ensuring that the right goods, equipment and/or services are available at the right location at the right time.

Not only do we assist in best practice reviews of processes and operating models, we also help customers to deploy leading technology solutions that utilise data driven insight to make improved supply chain decisions, improve resilience of the supply chain and deliver processes in a more efficient way to reduce operating costs – we go beyond insurance transfer.

Ideally, you’ll be working in a consulting role with robust experience in supply chain. It would be desirable if you have experience in technology enabled supply chain transformations, this could be within corporate organisations, local authority or charities. An insurance background is not necessary.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist customers with understanding and assessing the impact of their supply chain risk and identify risks before they happen
  • Advise customers on mitigation of risk and support in the event of an issue or risk event
  • Work with our strategic partners to develop and deliver supply chain services to our customers
  • Lead and support key supply chain projects across the UK
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to effectively manage supply chain risks and embed supply chain risk management processes
  • Assist in shaping the future of supply chain risk management both Globally and within the UK.
  • Build trusted relationships and promote collaborative teamwork, seeking diverse perspectives from internal and external partners
  • Tailor solutions in the best interests of our customers, understanding the evolving landscape and future needs

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • In-depth understanding of supply chain management and its practical implementation
  • Experience of working with complex supply chains
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in advising on supply chain management and associated risks.
  • Proven knowledge in identifying areas of improvement to drive protection and resilience across the supply chain
  • Consultancy delivery
  • Practical experience and technical expertise in one or more of the following fields:   
    • Supply chain risk management
    • Procurement
    • Logistics
    • Contingent Business Interruption
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPs) and/or related risk professional body

We are offering a salary up to £60,000 for this role, depending on experience.  Additionally, we have a great benefits package that supports this:
