Job Details
We are looking for a Senior Category Manager to join our Supply Chain Management Function to lead the procurement of a large scale transformational Integrated Facility Management project.

The project is one of the largest procurement projects the business is undertaking and provides a unique opportunity for a driven procurement professional to showcase a range of skills to senior level stakeholders within the business.
Specific focus for the role will include:
Negotiation of contract terms
Negotiation of performance management framework
Transition of multiple contracts into the IFM model
Closure of individual service contracts
Articulating the IFM model and its terms to relevant stakeholders
Structuring of supplier relationship governance and management
Experience procuring Facility Management services, negotiation and managing outcome-based contracts and driving supplier relationship management for large scale service providers within the Facilities Management space is essential. This role will also involve strategic sourcing activities such as competitive tendering and contract negotiation. Experience in a public sector regulatory procurement environment is desirable.
Specific duties of the Senior Category Manager include:
Develop, implement and execute Category Strategies for assigned categories, balancing short and long-term objectives to meet business strategy and efficiencies in alignment with business stakeholders, leveraging market dynamics and mitigating risk
Work with senior level stakeholders to understand their requirements, and support business strategy development
Execute the end to end strategic sourcing process for assigned categories, to deliver business requirements and to secure resilience in the supply chain
Execute Supplier Relationship Management for key suppliers who have a significant impact on AWE business, with the objective of managing risk, managing performance and extracting more value from the supplier base
Senior Category Manager applicants must meet the following criteria:
Experience of developing and delivering procurement category management strategies
Experience of facility management outcome-based contracts
Sourcing, supplier selection and negotiation experience
Experience leading and inspiring teams and driving a high-performance culture
The ability to drive change and transformation
The ability to foster excellent relationships with stakeholders
Can demonstrate innovative working with suppliers
Supplier Relationship Management
Experience of writing and negotiating contracts including Performance Management
The following criteria would also be beneficial to applicants
Experience of working in highly regulated environments
Experience of Public Procurement Regulations
All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the correct security clearance for this role.
