SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Contract Electronic Manufacturing partners in the UK; assisting the CEMs to deliver; right first time and on-time.
  • Manage supply of Semi-Conductors to ensure competitive price and delivery performance.
  • Undertake MRP purchases of TLA materials such as Metalwork, TFTs, Connectors, Gaskets.
  • Assist with local and Group cash flow.
  • Liaise with the Engineering Team on new projects.
  • Liaise and react to Manufacturing demands.
  • Liaise with sales on part delivery dates.
  • Maintain SAP material costings.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.
  • Assisting with Quality Audits.
  • Participate in quarterly stock audits as part of a team.
  • Undertake any other duties or activities reasonably requested in order to meet departmental or company goals.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER

Essential:

  • Excellent negotiating skills and able to work under pressure to find solutions.
  • Knowledge of and experience of working with CEMs.
  • Good knowledge of Semi-Conductors and the market.
  • Purchasing or Engineering Qualification.
  • Experience of working with an ERP system such as SAP.
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word Excel).

Desirable:

  • SAP Experience.
  • Management of supply chains and material/services sourcing.
  • Engineering background.
  • CIPS Membership.
