This globally renowned organization is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Buyer to join its procurement team. This best-in-class company has an abundance of resources to leverage for cutting-edge unprecedented innovations; the future capabilities are endless.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement and with expert guidance from the Senior Category Manager you will provide essential support across the procurement function and gain invaluable procurement experience. You will become the primary point of contact for key industry-leading stakeholders.

Within this Senior IT Procurement Buyer opportunity, your responsibilities will include…

• Managing the souring and introduction of suppliers through utilization of eSourcing tools; monitor suppliers and identify areas for negotiation, consolidation and savings
• Working cross-functionally with internal teams, such as Strategic Sales and the wider procurement team, to help development procurement strategies and working practices
• Ensuring that all existing procurement controls, policies and processes are effectively adhered to as well as developing new initiatives where necessary
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to effectively utilize economies of scale; challenge the business when needed in terms of supplier engagements

• Degree or MCIPS would be desirable
• Ability to demonstrate past procurement success; for instance complex negotiations, cost savings and reduction of risk
