Oracle and P2P specialist - Global Construction Firm - UK Wide - £65k

This globally renowned construction firm is looking for a Oracle and P2P specialist to join their procurement function as a Business Systems Lead and oversee all procurement projects sitting across the financial and procurement board.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join some of the best-in-class on £multi-billion projects globally. This opportunity will not only give you huge amounts of exposure across a range of projects but also give you the tools you and support you need to develop your career.

The key responsibilities for a Business Systems Lead Procurement Professional:

  • Engage with key senior stakeholders building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Provide business support for the Oracle platform ensuring there is change management, risk triage, and data migration
  • Review UK P2P and related processes, identifying improvement opportunities to align
  • You will be a SME and should facilitate delivery of targeted operational efficiencies
  • Provide training on the use of RFPs including Oracle R12

What they are looking for in a Business Systems Procurement Lead:

  • Experience in ERP systems
  • Negotiation skills
  • Involvement in managing large spends across direct or indirect categories with a proven track record of generating savings and creating value in a function
  • Experience strategically sourcing new suppliers and managing the full end-to-end tender process
  • Strong experience drafting and managing contracts with existing and new suppliers
  • CIPS and Degree qualified (desirable)
