Within this exciting Indirect IT procurement category manager role, you will be required to…

  • Continuously evaluate the organizations procurement activities; suggest and implement suitable solutions to facilitate efficiency and cost reduction, as well as be responsible for leading delivery of the end-to-end IT procurement process
  • Manage a variety of stakeholder relationships, from working with internal stakeholders to aid challenging of business requirements through to monitoring and liaising with local IT suppliers
  • Become an expert in this organizations proven budget approach to enable utilization, optimization and compliance with access to leading procurement tools and resources
  • The diverse nature of this role in terms of day-to-day activities provides desirable variety; you will constantly be exposed to dynamic responsibilities, from negotiating with market leading Technology suppliers to procurement performance management

Please note, although this is a 12 Month FTC opportunity the organization hates to lose talented procurement professionals, therefore it is likely to turn into a permanent position.

To be suitable for this Indirect IT procurement manager role, you will need…

  • CIPS and A level education is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong track record within IT procurement; particularly in relation to sourcing of IT procurement sub-categories, such as hardware, software and networks
  • Strong skills surrounding stakeholder management, communication and negotiation
