This is an exciting opportunity to develop already acquired procurement skills and work closely with the Procurement Manager to deliver all procurement activities.

Utilising exceptional communication skills, you will forge strong and productive relationships across the organisation and with external partners and suppliers. You’ll also support in the development of commercial solutions to help drive ECL’s vision to be the supplier of choice for adult health and social care.

Requirements to become a Senior Procurement Officer include:

  • to be educated to CIPS Level 3 or equivalent by experience
  • experience of working in Procurement
  • a basic understanding of Public Sector procurement law
  • excellent IT skills – including all Microsoft Office Programs and ideally experience with an e-tendering system such as Bravo
  • strong commercial acumen
  • the ability to organise and set priorities
  • the ability to cope under pressure displaying calm and patience
  • a commitment towards ongoing personal development
  • a full, clean valid driving license
  • to be supportive of change; showing flexibility and reliability at all times
