Bids and Programs Supply Chain Lead - UK Defense Major - Southampton - £40-55k + Package and benefits

Due to exponential company growth, this leading Aerospace & Defense organization is searching for an ambitious Bid and Programs Supply Chain Manager to help push the company forwards and implement immediate changes. With an excellent training scheme and fast-track route to leadership, this is a fantastic opportunity for a supply chain manager with comprehensive understanding of Bids and programs.

As a Bids and Programs Supply Chain Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with senior stakeholders and key suppliersto push through new procurement initiatives and secure cost savings
• Developing, implementing and managing customer management plans to build & ensure good working relationships with staff, subcontractors and suppliers
• Acting as the Subject Matter Expertand focal point on all Procurement and Supply Chain related issues
• Leading the required tendering, negotiation, placement and contract of major subcontracts for defined areas of responsibility
• Setting up, developing and implementing contract management protocols for major contracts

As a Bids and Programs Supply Chain Lead you will:

• The gravitas to influence and challenge senior stakeholders and management
• A solid Bids and Programs Supply Chain background with a strong history of progression
• Degree or equivalent
• CIPS or equivalent
